Hello everyone. This is Taro Kageyama, the producer of FFTCG. We are already in the third week of "Card of the Week" for the new booster pack, Blissful Eternity. Once again, I will be introducing a highly appealing new card. The card for today is a dynamic Earth Legend card featuring illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano: [29-061L] Vincent.

Vincent is a cost 3, 8000 power Earth Forward. He possesses an auto-ability that triggers when he enters the field, and a selectable auto-ability with two choices that triggers every time your Attack Phase begins. Let’s take a look at each effect one by one.
First, let's look at the auto-ability that triggers when he enters the field:
"When Vincent enters the field, reveal the top 2 cards of your deck. Add 1 Category VII card from among them to your hand and put the remaining cards into the Break Zone."
If you manage to add a card to your hand, you are essentially playing an 8000 power Forward for just 1 CP. However, since you only reveal the top 2 cards, you will likely need to tailor your deck design heavily toward Category (VII). That being said, being able to add any Category (VII) card to your hand without any specific restrictions is a major strength. It synergizes exceptionally well with cards like [28-013L] Tifa and [28-007H] Cloud from the latest booster pack, Dreamlike Oceans, and since Category (VII) covers Backups, Summons, and Monsters alike, you can choose your favorite cards to include in your deck. While playing [29-061L] Vincent will naturally lean your strategy toward a "FFVII" deck, you will still have plenty of room to express your own personal deck-building style within that archetype.
The other selectable auto-ability is not tied to Category (VII), but it offers highly useful effects. You can choose one of the following two options:
" until the end of the turn, Vincent gains +3000 power and Brave " OR "Choose 1 Forward. Deal it 6000 damage."
The former strengthens [29-061L] Vincent himself. An 11000 power Forward is not easily stopped, and since he gains Brave, attacking with him will also serve as a strong deterrent against your opponent’s counterattack on their next turn.
The latter is a damage-dealing effect, and being able to dish out 6000 damage so effortlessly means your opponent will have trouble establishing a board of Forwards unless they remove [29-061L] Vincent as quickly as possible. While neither of these options is overly complex, I’m sure you can see just how incredibly useful they both are.
Now might be the perfect time to forge a brand-new "FFVII" deck. Please give it a try!
Next week, we will introduce a card from a harsh world where "None shall remember the names of those who do not fight." Stay tuned!
