We have some unfortunate updates regarding FFTCG this year due to the situation surrounding COVID-19 (novel coronavirus).
2020 North America Event Schedule
With the ongoing situation surrounding COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), and our concerns for the health and well-being of the players and staff involved, we have made the decision to postpone the following events:
Crystal Cup Kansas – Originally scheduled JULY 18 & 19 – Collector’s Cache – Lenexa, KS
Crystal Cup SoCal – Originally scheduled AUGUST 29 & 30 – Cardforge Gaming – Upland, CA
L3 Open Arizona – Originally scheduled August (Date TBD) – Desert Sky Games – Chandler, AZ
2020 North America Local Qualifiers – Originally scheduled for Summer 2020
2020 North American Championship – Originally planned for Late 2020
We hope to shift the event schedule once we have a better understanding of how this situation will progress. As soon as we have something solid to announce on when and how competitive events will resume, we will be sure to share it.
This was not an easy decision to make, but one we had to come to with the health and safety of our players and staff being our number one priority.
Opus XII
Considering the situation with COVID-19 worldwide, we will postpone the release of “Opus XII” which was originally scheduled to be released July 17th. We will announce a new launch date as soon as a new product release schedule has been decided.
We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the new set, or upcoming events. We appreciate your understanding and hope all of you stay safe.
