European Championship - Day 1

Saturday 5th October

This year, the European Championship will be open for everyone to participate in Side Events. The Main Event itself requires a qualification upfront and the last Chance is the Dark Crystal Cup on Friday.

Main Event

The Main Event will be played in the same Location and up to 64 pre-qualified Players will compete for the Title of the European Champion 2019.

Registration starts at 9:00 AM and will be open for 60 minutes.

All Participants (also the ones that are qualified for Day 2 directly) have to register two valid Deck lists until 10:00 AM. This can be done on the Day or via E-mail to fftcg@eu.square-enix.com. Different to last year: It is not allowed to have the same card in both decks - All 50 Cards have to be different from the other 50 Cards.
To win a Match you need to win with both decks. If you won with one of your decks you are not allowed to use the same deck again. If you lost with your deck you may (or may not) switch the Deck for the next round.

Round-Time: 70 minutes

After 6 Rounds of Swiss the Top 8 will advance into the Upper Tree of Day 2 and the Place 9-16th will advance to the lower Tree of Day 2 for the Double-Elimination-KO.
